Our Mission

The Borego Pioneers Society preserves and promotes the history of the community of “Old Borego” and Borrego
Springs, California for the enjoyment and education of our residents and visitors of all ages.

 Its purpose is to:

 1.    To preserve the heritage of “Old Borego” and Borrego Springs, from the beginning and continue to focus on the traditions of the community.

 2.    To maintain an informational atmosphere about the community of “Old Borego” and Borrego Springs, that is attractive to residents and visitors of all ages.

 3.    To provide a repository for artifacts, photographs, documents, shared stories and other memorabilia pertinent to the history of the community of “Old Borego” and Borrego Springs.
